Frequently asked questions

What is an online consultation?

It is a medical consultation over a video call. The doctor listens, asks questions, looks at what you show on camera and can prescribe a treatment, as in a surgery visit.

What do I need?

A phone or computer with a camera and an internet connection. The call happens in the Alo Docteur app or in your browser.

What if the consultation does not happen?

If you cancel before the visit starts, if the doctor cancels, or if no doctor accepts your urgent call, you get a full refund.

Is it suitable for emergencies?

Alo Docteur is not an emergency service. Chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting or signs of a stroke: call 190 (SAMU) or 198 (Civil Protection) in Tunisia. Abroad, call the local emergency number (112 in Europe).
